Revel understood that success of our solution hinged on uniting the group’s global sales force of 1,700-plus individuals and enabling them to respond to the ever-changing needs of their customers, without the barriers of manual processes, documentation, and live training. We wanted to coordinate sales staff around a single source of truth, and equip them with the right information, resources, and training for long-term success. We also saw this as an opportunity to introduce an adaptive, intelligent system that aligned with the company’s existing technology stack, which would allow us to both deploy a custom application solution in three months and maximize sales adoption by leveraging a responsive technology ecosystem already familiar to users.
Thus, we developed a custom Enterprise Services Guided Sales App, which includes a single sign-on sales dashboard and portal app that connects users to approved sales content, processes, and more from any device, anytime, anywhere. In essence, the Guided Sales App brings together a massive organization in a streamlined, intuitive, and personalized digital experience.
For the first phase of our custom application development, the Guided Sales App concentrates on two aspects of the seller experience: education and training. To this end, we created a scenario-based guided-selling experience that walks salespeople through all the steps and sales motions of multiple enterprise support sales frameworks. And to ensure sellers can easily locate and access the supporting content they need, we created a centralized portal that collects and organizes the most current, relevant content and institutional knowledge from the many disparate online sources of information. All of this is contained within a well-designed and inviting user interface.
