Revel Consulting Launches Sustainable Giving Program

Firm donates money & consulting services enabling non-profit partners to prosper

KIRKLAND, WA – Revel Consulting, a Kirkland, Washington-based business management consulting firm, announced today the launch of their “Sustainable Giving” program aimed at supporting non-profit organizations by going beyond traditional monetary donations and providing consulting services that help streamline operations and develop additional fundraising streams. The first partner to participate in Revel’s unique approach to corporate citizenship was the Foster Kids 5K, an annual run and walk race, held this year on August 29th, which raised more than $4,000 for Royal Family Kids Camps. Leading up to the Foster Kids 5K, Revel’s consultants provided race organizers with more than 40 hours of consulting services, focusing on reducing organizational overhead and increasing efficiencies, ultimately to provide more funds to help foster children.

“Given the state of the economy, corporate donations are down but companies are seeking alternate ways to sustain their giving programs. Non-profit organizations are now in need of new ways to carry on their cause,” said Brett Alston, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Revel. “Sustainable Giving allows us to further our commitment to community involvement while offering non-profits a new, innovative approach to their fundraising models.”

When Foster Kids 5K approached Revel for a monetary donation, several consultants with a passion for community work volunteered to work closely with the event founders and met on a weekly basis to follow a detailed project plan and marketing strategy. This project helped the Foster Kids 5K organizers define sponsorship levels, maximize community relationships, identify and mitigate event risks, and reduce internal costs by providing in-house marketing efforts and design needs.
