Revel Consulting Runs for HIV Awareness

Consultants team up to participates in 24-Hour Ragnar Relay Series

KIRKLAND, WA - Revel Consulting, a Kirkland, Washington based business and business management consulting firm, sponsored Team “Revel- Endorphins for Orphans” in this year’s Ragnar Relay Series. Twelve of Revel’s consultants combined to complete a grueling 185 mile course over 24 hours to raise both awareness and money for orphans in Africa who are HIV positive. Proceeds raised by Team Revel will go to the Rose & Rosemary Organization, an organization working to prolong and improve the health and quality of life for HIV-positive orphans.

“As a firm, and as a team of runners, Revel was committed to making this race a success,” said Brett Alston, Managing Partner at Revel and runner. “Although we are all exhausted from the race, it is a small price to pay knowing that our efforts can help such a worthy charity and impact the lives of children in Africa.”

The Ragnar Relay begins in the town of Blaine and heads south through farm country and along the coast, ultimately crossing over Deception Pass onto Whidbey Island. The race concluded up on the southern tip of Whidbey in the town of Langley. Over the course of the 24-hour race, each team member ran three legs, ranging between 3 and 8 miles.
