Royal Family Kids Camps Foster 5K

Royal Family Kids’ Camps is a one-week summer camp for foster kids who have been victims of neglect or abuse. Royal Family’s camp goal is to provide these kids with a much needed fun and safe environment where they can participate in success-oriented activities such as horseback riding, arts & crafts, canoeing, and much more. The annual Foster Kids 5k Fun Run & Walk is one of the ways funds are raised to support the Royal Family Kids’ Camp.

Since 2009, Revel’s Sustainable Giving program has been supporting the Royal Family Kids’ Camps and the Foster Kids 5K providing critical financial support, but just as importantly project management and marketing services for the 5k event.  Revel consultants support the Foster Kids 5k by helping event founders develop event strategies, define sponsorship levels, maximize community relationships, identify and mitigate event risks, and reduce internal costs by providing in-house marketing and design needs—all of which ultimately helped the organization reduce costs and raise more money to support local foster children. As a gold sponsor in 2010 and 2011, Revel ensures that lessons learned are leveraged to make year over year improvements. The results have been tremendous with consecutive years of events goals being exceeded, increasing proceeds and greater event attendance.
